NON-UTILITY OPERATING REVENUE AND EXPENSES	NOTE 7 NON-UTILITY OPERATING REVENUE AND EXPENSES Non-utility operating revenue consisted of $4.7 million, $4.4 million, and $4.1 million recognized by Artesian Utility in 2016, 2015 and 2014, respectively. Non-utility operating expenses consisted of $2.6 million, $2.3 million and $2.2 million primarily recognized by Artesian Utility in 2016, 2015 and 2014, respectively. Artesian Utility operates the water, wastewater and internal Service Line Protection Plans, or SLP Plans. The SLP Plans provide coverage for all material and labor required to repair or replace participants' leaking water service, clogged sewer lines or water and wastewater lines within the residence up to an annual limit.
