Impairment of Long-Lived Assets

The Partnership reviews long-lived assets to determine if there has been any impairment whenever events or changes in circumstances indicate that the carrying amount of the asset may not be recoverable. If the sum of the expected future cash flows is less than the carrying amount of the assets, the Partnership recognizes an impairment loss. Other than the impairment of the mortgage note receivable as discussed above, the Partnership did not recognize any impairment losses during the years ended December 31, 2012 and 2011.
