<div align="left" style="font-size: 10pt; margin-top: 6pt">Total comprehensive income attributable to common shareholders is comprised of net income
attributable to shareholders and other comprehensive income, which includes the change in
unrealized gains and losses on securities available for sale, the change in other than temporary
impairments recognized in other comprehensive income and the change in net periodic pension cost.
Total comprehensive income attributable to common shareholders was $60.5 million and $59.4 million
for the first three months of 2011 and 2010, respectively. Net unrealized gains on securities
available for sale increased $10.2 million and $22.6 million in the first three months of 2011 and
2010, respectively.
