Note 9 Commitments

The Company leases certain transportation vehicles, warehouse facilities, office space and machinery and equipment under cancelable and non-cancelable leases, most of which expire within 10 years and may be renewed by the Company. Rent expense under such arrangements totaled $3,693, $3,518 and $3,403 for the years ended September 30, 2013, 2014 and 2015, respectively. Rent expense does not include income from sub-lease rentals totaling $129, $147 and $105 for the years ended September 30, 2013, 2014 and 2015, respectively. Future minimum rental commitments under non-cancelable operating leases at September 30, 2015, are as follows:
