[1] As part of the 2015 purchase of our joint venture partners’ interest in Iconix China, the Company acquired an equity investment in China Outfitters Holdings Ltd. As of March 31, 2019 and December 31, 2018, the fair value of this investment was approximately $1.0 million and $1.0 million, respectively, with the decrease in fair value of less than $0.1 million recorded within Other Income on the Company’s condensed consolidated statement of operations.

[2] In accordance with ASC 825, given that these investments do not have readily determinable fair values and the Company does not have significant influence over the entity, the Company assesses these investments for potential impairment on a quarterly basis. As of March 31, 2019, there were no indicators of impairment for these investments.
