Item 8.01 Other Events

On September 25, 2008, American Media Operations, Inc. issued a press release announcing the extension of its cash tender offers and related consent solicitations for its outstanding senior subordinated notes until 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on September 30, 2008, as well as an amendment to the terms of the tender offers and related consent solicitations to provide that the tender offers and consent solicitations are being made to holders of record of the notes as of 5:00 p.m. on September 29, 2008. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
