th
2019, PG&E Corp. (“PG&E”) filed for bankruptcy under chapter 11 of the U.S. bankruptcy code. The Company’s total outstanding accounts receivable from PG&E on the bankruptcy filing date of January 29, 2019 was $6.0 million. The Company currently expects to collect substantially all of the pre-bankruptcy accounts receivable from PG&E. However, due to the risks and uncertainties inherent in the bankruptcy process, the amount ultimately collected could differ from the Company’s current expectation. The Company continues to do work for PG&E post–bankruptcy filing and expects to be paid for this work in the ordinary course of business. Under the United States Bankruptcy code, PG&E is required to pay all post-bankruptcy expenses in the normal course of business. If they do not do so, the Company is eligible to have the post-bankruptcy obligation categorized as an administrative expense entitled to priority over most pre-bankruptcy creditors.
