RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that on 24th November 2010 it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 11,145 Ordinary Shares at prices of €11.8573 and £16.7806 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 9,639,073 Ordinary Shares in Treasury.  The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 708,869,840.
