                        Investor Seminar - Long Products

Corus Group plc is today, Monday 20 June 2005, hosting a seminar for investors
and analysts regarding its Long Products Division. The presentation, to be given
at the seminar, will be available on the company's website www.corusgroup.com
under investors.

The seminar will not provide any further update to current trading performance
beyond that disclosed in the Group's AGM statement which was published on
Thursday 16 June 2005.
