Shares Buy Back Announcement

SHENZHEN, PRC – August 22, 2016 – Nam Tai Property Inc. (“Nam Tai” or the “Company”) (NYSE Symbol: NTP) today announced that due to still the low share price of the Company shares, its board of directors has approved a stock repurchase program to buy back to US$50 million of its common stocks in the open market at prevailing market prices for the period of four weeks starting from September 3, 2016. The actual number of common stocks to be repurchased will depend upon market conditions and other factors, in accordance with Securities and Exchange Commission requirements. This repurchase program will be executed in accordance with SEC Rule 10b-18 and is expected to terminate on September 30, 2016.
