AB Announces May 31, 2021 Assets Under Management

New York, NY, June 9, 2021 - AllianceBernstein L.P. (“AB”) and AllianceBernstein Holding L.P. (“AB Holding”) (NYSE: AB) today announced that preliminary assets under management increased to $731 billion during May 2021 from $724 billion at the end of April. Firmwide net inflows, coupled with market appreciation, drove the 1% increase. By channel, Retail and Institutional experienced net inflows and Private Wealth was essentially unchanged. During the month, the firm experienced inflows to our low-fee Customized Retirement Strategies (CRS) platform of $0.8 billion. May month-end AUM also reflected $0.4 billion of outflows resulting from AXA S.A's ongoing redemption of certain low-fee fixed income mandates, of which less than $1 billion remains outstanding.
