Earnings Per Share

The following table sets forth the computation of earnings per share for the periods indicated. Weighted average shares issuable upon the exercises of stock options and the release of performance and restricted shares are not included in the calculation because they were anti-dilutive and totaled approximately 133,000 and 110,000 for the three and six months ended December 31, 2017, respectively, and 86,000 and 227,000 for the three and six months ended December 31,2016, respectively. The earnings per share computation does not include the effects of the convertible note issuance as these notes were not convertible at December 31, 2017, ($000 except per share data):
