Inventory consists of the following (in thousands):

As of March 31, 2020, total inventory included $33.5 million related to CINVANTI and $1.3 million related to SUSTOL. As of December 31, 2019, total inventory included $23.5 million related to CINVANTI and $1.5 million related to SUSTOL. In addition, cost of product sales for the three months ended March 31, 2019 included charges of $1.6 million resulting from the write-off of short-dated SUSTOL inventory.
