Other Expense

Other expense consists of the following:

During 2013 and 2014, we restructured certain administrative functions. For the three months endedMarch 31, 2013 and 2014, we incurred $1.6 million and $0.7 million, respectively, in related costs consisting principally of severance charges.

During the three months endedMarch 31, 2013 and 2014, we incurred $0.2 million and $1.9 million, respectively, in legal costs associated with a patent infringement claim, and in 2014, it also included $0.9 million in settlement costs as further described in Note 12. In addition, 2014 also included $0.6 million in consulting fees.
