Item 2.02.   Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
     On March 17, 2008, Wellman, Inc. (“the Company”) issued a press release with its Fourth Quarter and Full Year 2007 Results and information related to EBITDA, as defined. A copy of the Company’s press release and supplemental information are attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
Item 2.06.   Material Impairments.
     Based upon the fair value of its debt and equity at December 31, 2007, the Company determined that, based on the fair market value of its debt and equity, certain of its noncurrent assets were impaired in the fourth quarter of 2007. The Company recorded a pre-tax impairment charge of $292.6 million in its loss from operations for the fourth quarter 2007 to reflect its noncurrent assets at fair value, which was less than cost, at December 31, 2007.
