Item 8.01. Other Events.

On December 11, 2007, Kaiser Aluminum Corporation announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend on its common stock of $0.18 per share. The dividend will be payable on February 15, 2008 to stockholders of record as of the close of business on January 25, 2008. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.

Kaiser Aluminum Announces Quarterly Dividend Payment

FOOTHILL RANCH, Calif. — December 11, 2007 — Kaiser Aluminum (NASDAQ:KALU) today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend payment of $0.18 per share on the company’s outstanding common stock. This dividend will be payable on February 15, 2008 to shareholders of record at the close of business on January 25, 2008.
