Archstone (the “Company”) intends to file its Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2007 (the “Report”) on March 31, 2008 but after the 5:30 pm EST deadline. We were unable to file the Report by the Securities and Exchange Commission deadline as the Company was still reviewing and incorporating final changes to the document.

The Company consummated its merger with a subsidiary of an entity jointly controlled by Tishman Speyer Real Estate Venture VII, L.P. and Lehman Brothers Holdings, Inc. on October 4, 2007, as described in the Company’s prior SEC filings. Therefore, the Company’s results of operations for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2006 are not indicative of those expected in future periods nor are they comparable to the fiscal year ended December 31, 2007.
