INVENTORIES

Inventories, consisting of raw materials, work in process, and finished goods related to our products, are stated at the lower of cost or estimated net realizable value that can be estimated utilizing the weighted moving average method. A reserve is established when management determines that certain slow-moving inventories may be sold at below book value. These reserves are recorded based on estimates.  As of January 31, 2022, the Company did not record a reserve for slow-moving inventories. If inventory costs exceed expected market value due to obsolescence or quantities in excess of expected demand, the Company will record a write down of inventories for the difference between the lower of cost or estimated net realizable value. As of January 31, 2022 and April 30, 2021, the Company wrote down inventories of $854,866 and $1,276,893, respectively.
