Income Taxes	Income Taxes The effective tax rates were approximately 25.2% and 30.4% for the three months ended April 1, 2017 and April 2, 2016, respectively. The first quarter 2017 tax rate was favorably impacted relative to the statutory rate by excess tax benefits associated with the exercise of stock options, decreases in foreign tax rates, and from the federal research and development tax credit.
