Organization, Consolidation and Presentation of Financial Statements Disclosure [Text Block]	Basis of PresentationThese statements should be read in conjunction with the Company’s Annual Report on Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2021. In the opinion of management, the accompanying unaudited Consolidated Financial Statements of The Procter & Gamble Company and subsidiaries (the "Company," "Procter & Gamble," "P&G," "we" or "our") contain all adjustments necessary to present fairly the financial position, results of operations and cash flows for the interim periods reported. However, the results of operations included in such financial statements may not necessarily be indicative of annual results. Beginning in fiscal year 2022, the Company began to present increases and reductions in short-term debt with maturities of more than three months separately within the Consolidated Statements of Cash Flows. The presentation for the six months ended December 31, 2020 has been revised to align with the current period presentation. This change had no impact on total financing activities and we have concluded the change is not material.
