Asset Impairment Charges [Text Block]	NOTE K – IMPAIRMENT OF VENDOR DEPOSIT During the quarter ended March 30, 2025, the Company made deposits totaling $2,701,000 with a vendor in its Housewares/Small Appliances segment. On May 29, 2025, the vendor filed for protection in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the Northern District of Texas. As recovery of the deposit is deemed unlikely, the Company recorded an impairment of the full deposit during the quarter ended June 29, 2025. The deposit had been carried in Property, Plant and Equipment on the Company’s balance sheet.

The entire disclosure for the details of the charge against earnings resulting from the aggregate write down of all assets from their carrying value to their fair value. Disclosure may also include a description of the impaired asset and facts and circumstances leading to the impairment, amount of the impairment loss and where the loss is located in the income statement, method(s) for determining fair value, and the segment in which the impaired asset is reported.
