Item 5.02
Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
As previously reported, the named executive officers and certain other officers of PPG Industries, Inc. (the “Company”) elected to reduce their 2020 base salaries as one of many proactive measures taken by the Company in response to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Officers-Directors Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors (the “Committee”) approved these salary reductions on April 2, 2020. On July 15, 2020, the Committee reinstated the salaries of the Company’s named executive officers and certain other officers to their pre-reduction levels, effective August 1, 2020.
