Supplemental Cash Flow Information Occidental paid foreign income taxes and domestic state taxes of $545 million and $375 million during the six months ended June 30, 2018, and 2017, respectively. Occidental received domestic tax refunds of $2 million and $755 million during the six months ended June 30, 2018, and 2017, respectively. Interest paid totaled $182 million and $155 million during the six months ended June 30, 2018, and 2017, respectively.
