Asset Acquisitions, Dispositions and Other In February 2017, Occidental entered into a sales agreement to sell its South Texas operations for approximately $0.6 billion. The transaction closed in April 2017, and is subject to customary price adjustments. The assets and liabilities related to these operations were presented as held for sale at March 31, 2017, and primarily included property, plant and equipment and asset retirement obligations.
