Item 8.01 Other Events.

On February 16, 2007, Metal Management, Inc. issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors approved a quarterly cash dividend of 7.5 cents per share of common stock payable on March 19, 2007 to shareholders of record on March 6, 2007.
