Item 8.01 Other Events.

On March 10, 2006, Metal Management, Inc. issued a press release announcing that its board of directors approved a quarterly cash dividend of 7.5 cents per share of common stock payable on March 31, 2006 to shareholders of record on March 21, 2006.
