Subsequent Events [Text Block]	Subsequent Event On September 30, 2015, Emmis invested an additional $1.0 million in Digonex Technologies, Inc. in the form of convertible debt, which resulted in Emmis owning rights that are convertible into approximately 75% of the common equity of Digonex. Because Emmis controls and consolidates Digonex, this investment is eliminated in consolidation.
