         On August 12, 2004, Synovis Life Technologies, Inc. ("Synovis" or the
"Company") issued a press release announcing the appointment, effective August
30, 2004, of Richard Kramp as president and chief operating officer of the
Company's Interventional business and the resignation of Fariborz Boor Boor,
effective October 31, 2004, as executive vice president of Synovis Life
Technologies, Inc.
