Income Taxes	Income Taxes The Corporation recognized income tax expense of $44 million for the first half of 2015, compared to income tax expense of $42 million for the comparable period in 2014. The effective tax rate was 31.54% for the first half of 2015, compared to an effective tax rate of 31.60% for the first half of 2014.
