[2] The increase in nonaccrual home equity loans was driven by regulatory guidance issued during 2012, pertaining to income recognition practices on performing junior lien mortgages. While the loans are currently performing they are placed on nonaccrual as a result of delinquency with respect to the first position, which is held by another financial institution.
