Identifiable intangible asset amortization expense in 2019, 2018 and 2017 was $31.7 million, $34.9 million and $36.4 million, respectively.
There was no impairment charge for trade name intangible assets in 2019 and 2018. In 2017, we recorded an impairment charge for trade name intangible assets of $8.8 million in Filtration Solutions and Flow Technologies.
