Pan American Silver Announces Release Date For

2008 Unaudited Fourth Quarter And Year End Results

Vancouver, British Columbia – February 10, 2009-- Pan American Silver Corp. (PAAS: NASDAQ; PAA: TSX) today announced that its unaudited fourth quarter and year end results for 2008 will be released on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 after markets close.  A conference call and live audio webcast to discuss the results will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at 11:00 am ET (8:00 am PT).
