NOTE 8 ¾ CAPITAL TRANSACTIONS

During the quarter and six months ended June 30, 2016, Capstead issued an additional 40,000 and 48,000 shares of its 7.50% Series E Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock through an at-the-market continuous offering program at average prices of $24.08 and $24.05, net of underwriting fees and other costs, for net proceeds of $961,000 and $1.2 million, respectively.
