During the years ended June 30, 2013, 2012, and 2011, Qualstar paid $376,000, $134,000, and $86,000, respectively to the law firm in which the director is a shareholder for general business purposes. During the years ended June 30, 2013 and 2012, Qualstar paid $316,000 and $279,000 to the law firm in which the director is a shareholder for legal services provided in connection with the proxy contest related to the annual and special meetings of shareholders held on June 28, 2013 and June 20, 2012, and in connection with litigation.
