Income Taxes	NOTE H - Income Taxes The effective tax rate for the second quarter of 2021 was 22.6% compared to 19.7% for the second quarter of 2020. The effective tax rate for the first six months of 2021 was 22.6% compared to 21.5% for the first six months of 2020. The higher effective tax rate in the second quarter and first half of 2021 was primarily due to higher R&D credits in 2020.
