Income Taxes	NOTE G - Income Taxes The effective tax rate for the third quarter of 2017 was 30.8% compared to 30.0% in the third quarter of 2016, primarily due to the increase in mix of income generated in jurisdictions with higher tax rates in 2017 as compared to 2016. For the first nine months, the effective tax rate was 30.8% in 2017 compared to 67.3% in 2016. Substantially all of the difference in tax rate was due to the non-deductible expense of $833.0 for the European Commission charge (EC charge) in 2016.
