Note 13. Noninterest Income and Noninterest Expense

During the fourth quarter of 2018, the Company sold the majority of its holdings of Visa Class B common shares. The sale resulted in a gain of approximately $33.2 million, which is included in net gain on sales of assets on the Consolidated Statement of Income. For more information on the circumstances surrounding the sale, refer to Note 11 – Derivatives.
