Note 1.  General
The accompanying unaudited consolidated financial statements of Old Point Financial Corporation (the Company) and its subsidiaries have been prepared in accordance with U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) for interim financial information.  All significant intercompany balances and transactions have been eliminated.  In the opinion of management, the accompanying unaudited consolidated financial statements contain all adjustments and reclassifications of a normal and recurring nature considered necessary to present fairly the financial positions at June 30, 2011 and December 31, 2010, the results of operations for the three and six months ended June 30, 2011 and 2010 and statement of cash flows and changes in stockholders' equity for the six months ended June 30, 2011 and 2010. The results of operations for the interim periods are not necessarily indicative of the results that may be expected for the full year.

These financial statements should be read in conjunction with the consolidated financial statements and notes thereto included in the Company's 2010 annual report on Form 10-K. Certain previously reported amounts have been reclassified to conform to current period presentation.
