On July 28, 2010, the Board of Directors of Marina Biotech, Inc. (the “Company”) approved an increase to the annual base salary payable to Peter S. Garcia, the Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of the Company, from $300,000 to $324,000, effective August 1, 2010.
