(b) On March 31, 2010, as previously announced, Harold M. Korell retired as an employee of Southwestern Energy Company (the "Company") pursuant to the terms of his retirement agreement with the Company, which was filed as Exhibit 10.1 to the Company's Current Report on Form 8-K dated August 14, 2009. Effective as of April 1, 2010, Mr. Korell ceased to serve as the Company's Executive Chairman and continues in his capacity as a director to serve as the non-executive Chairman of the Company's Board of Directors.
