Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.

     On June 1, 2006, Temple-Inland hosted an investor meeting in San Antonio, Texas. The purpose for the meeting was to provide a formal presentation on our real estate activities, which is a new business segment beginning first quarter 2006. Kenneth M. Jastrow, II, chairman and chief executive officer, and other members of the senior management team, participated in the meeting. A copy of the presentation materials used at this meeting are furnished as exhibit 99.1 to this current report on form 8-K.
