The Company has recognized share-based compensation expense from continuing operations of approximately $77 thousand and $121 thousand for the six months ended June 30, 2013 and 2012, respectively. There was no share-based compensation expense from discontinued operations for the three and six months ended June 30, 2013. Share-based compensation expense from discontinued operations was zero and $(7) thousand for the three and six months ended June 30, 2012, respectively. No share-based compensation expense was capitalized during the six months ended June 30, 2013 and 2012. Compensation expense related to stock options to be charged in future periods amounts to approximately $52 thousand at June 30, 2013 and will be recognized over a weighted-average period of 1.08 years as follows:
