¹Certain outstanding equity awards are anti-dilutive and were therefore excluded from the calculation of the weighted average number of diluted common shares outstanding. For the year ended December 31, 2018, 2017 and 2016, options to purchase 0.6 million, less than 0.1 million shares and 0.5 million shares were excluded from the calculation of weighted average number of diluted common shares outstanding, respectively. The per share exercise prices of such awards were $42.84, $39.38 and $34.14, respectively.
