     Michael G. Atieh, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of OSI Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (“OSI”), has announced his intention to retire from OSI in March 2009. Mr. Atieh, who turns 55 this year, has been an executive in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry for over 25 years and upon retirement will divide his time between service on boards of directors and charitable activities.
