This combined Form 8-K is separately filed or furnished by Pinnacle West Capital Corporation and Arizona Public Service Company. Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

Effective May 3, 2021, in preparation for Daniel T. Froetscher’s previously announced retirement, Mr. Froetscher’s duties as President of Arizona Public Service Company were informally transferred to Jeffrey B. Guldner.
