Item 5.02     Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers.

On November 2, 2020, Mark E. Miller resigned as Chief Operating Officer (“COO”) of IPALCO Enterprises, Inc. (“IPALCO”), a subsidiary of The AES Corporation (“AES”), and as COO of IPALCO’s principal subsidiary, Indianapolis Power & Light Company, in connection with him assuming the new roles of AES US Market Business Leader for California and General Manager of the AES US Southland businesses.
