NOTE 17. GEOGRAPHIC AND REVENUE DISAGGREGATION

The Company operates as one operating segment. Sales to customers outside the U.S. represented 14%, 14% and 8% of total revenue for the years ended December 31, 2022, 2021 and 2020, respectively. As of December 31, 2022 and 2021, balances due from foreign customers, in U.S. dollars, were $0.6 million and $0.7 million, respectively.

Lease income included in net sales was $1.4 million, $1.9 million and $3.6 million for the years ended December 31, 2022, 2021 and 2020, respectively, and was recorded in accordance with ASC 842, which does not represent revenues recognized from contracts with customers in accordance with ASC 606.
