Declaration of Quarterly Dividend

At its October 26, 2010 Board meeting, State Bancorp, Inc.'s (the "Company’s") Board of Directors declared a cash dividend of $0.05 per share to be paid on December 16, 2010 to stockholders of record as of November 16, 2010.  The press release announcing such declaration is filed herewith as Exhibit 99.1.
