The Partnership originally made investments in </font><font style="font-family:inherit;font-size:10pt;color:#000000;text-decoration:none;">thirty-seven</font><font style="font-family:inherit;font-size:10pt;"> Local Partnerships. As of </font><font style="font-family:inherit;font-size:10pt;color:#000000;text-decoration:none;">June 30, 2013</font><font style="font-family:inherit;font-size:10pt;">, the Partnership retained investment in </font><font style="font-family:inherit;font-size:10pt;color:#000000;text-decoration:none;">one</font><font style="font-family:inherit;font-size:10pt;"> Local Partnership, owning </font><font style="font-family:inherit;font-size:10pt;color:#000000;text-decoration:none;">one</font><font style="font-family:inherit;font-size:10pt;"> apartment complex. </font></div><div style="line-height:120%;padding-left:48px;font-size:10pt;"><font style="font-family:inherit;font-size:10pt;"><br clear="none"/></font></div><div style="line-height:120%;text-align:justify;padding-left:48px;font-size:10pt;"><font style="font-family:inherit;font-size:10pt;">The General Partners of the Partnership are C.R.I., Inc. (CRI), which is the Managing General Partner, and current and former shareholders of CRI.  The Initial Limited Partner was Rockville Pike Associates Limited Partnership-III, a limited partnership which includes certain current officers and former employees of CRI or its affiliates.  The Special Limited Partner had been Two Broadway Associates II, a limited partnership comprised of an affiliate and employees of Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith, Incorporated.  Effective January 1, 2002, Two Broadway Associates II transferred its interest to MLH Merger Corporation and </font><font style="font-family:inherit;font-size:10pt;color:#000000;text-decoration:none;">three</font><font style="font-family:inherit;font-size:10pt;"> individuals.</font></div><div style="line-height:120%;padding-left:48px;font-size:10pt;"><font style="font-family:inherit;font-size:10pt;"><br clear="none"/></font></div><div style="line-height:120%;text-align:justify;padding-left:48px;font-size:10pt;"><font style="font-family:inherit;font-size:10pt;">The Partnership sold </font><font style="font-family:inherit;font-size:10pt;color:#000000;text-decoration:none;">60,000</font><font style="font-family:inherit;font-size:10pt;"> units at </font><font style="font-family:inherit;font-size:10pt;color:#000000;text-decoration:none;">$1,000</font><font style="font-family:inherit;font-size:10pt;"> per unit of additional limited partner interest through a public offering.  The offering period was terminated in January 1984.  As of </font><font style="font-family:inherit;font-size:10pt;color:#000000;text-decoration:none;">June 30, 2013</font><font style="font-family:inherit;font-size:10pt;">, </font><font style="font-family:inherit;font-size:10pt;color:#000000;text-decoration:none;">118</font><font style="font-family:inherit;font-size:10pt;"> units of limited partner interest had been abandoned.</font></div></div>falsefalsefalsenonnum:textBlockItemTypenaThe entire disclosure for the nature of an entity's business, the major products or services it sells or provides and its principal markets, including the locations of those markets.
