Earnings Per Share [Abstract]
Earnings Per Share [Text Block]
Earnings Per Share

Basic earnings per share (EPS) is computed by dividing net income by the weighted average number of common shares outstanding for the period. Diluted EPS is computed similarly to basic EPS except that the denominator is increased to include the number of additional common shares that would have been outstanding if potentially dilutive common shares had been issued.

For the three and nine months ended June 30, 2011, options for 142,000 and 145,000 shares, respectively, are excluded from the diluted EPS calculations because they are anti-dilutive. For the three and nine months ended June 30, 2010, options for 157,000 and 235,000 shares, respectively, and 14,000 and 4,000 restricted stock award shares, respectively, are excluded from the diluted EPS calculations because they are anti-dilutive.
